At AJ Mobility Specialists, Inc., formerly A&J Mobility Specialists LLC, our goal is to ensure that you always select the right product for your needs. However, you may occasionally receive a product that doesn’t work for you. If you need to return an item, please review our Return Policy below and then contact us for a Return Authorization Request.

FULL RETURN POLICY

Most items may be returned within 15 days of receipt for a full refund minus any White Glove Delivery option and freight charges. They must be returned at the customer’s expense in their original packaging and meet the following conditions:
• Product must be in new condition. For example, no cracks, scratches, dirty or marked tires, or any indications of usage.
• Product must be returned in its original packaging. You can purchase new packaging for scooters and power wheelchairs by calling customer service.
• A Return Authorization must be requested from AJ Mobility Specialists, Inc. within 15 days of delivery of the product.
• Once an RA has been received, products must be returned within 14 days.

There are certain products that are custom-made by the manufacturer and are non-returnable. These include:
• All Lift Chairs

Some products require a 25% restocking fee for returns. These include:
• Scooters
• Power wheelchairs
• Vehicle lifts
• Parts

RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER

All returned products require a Return Authorization number. You may call us at 541-601-1862 or email us at customerservice@anjmobility.com to request an RA number. Please include your order number, name and the item number you are returning.

PLEASE NOTE: Products returned without an RA number will not be credited. To receive full credit, items must be shipped within 14 days from the day the RA Number and shipping information were provided by AJ Mobility Specialists, Inc.

RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
Unless AJ Mobility Specialists, Inc. made an error, return freight is the customer’s responsibility. We will be happy to help you determine which shipping method to use once you have requested your RA number. We highly recommend insuring larger items for their retail value to protect against shipping damage.

Please be sure to carefully follow all return-shipping instructions that are included with your Return Authorization number. If an item is returned to the wrong address, AJ Mobility Specialists, Inc. reserves the right to charge for any additional shipping fees associated with shipping the item to the correct location. In addition, if a scheduled pickup with a delivery carrier is missed, AJ Mobility Specialists, Inc. may institute a $25 fee per missed scheduled pickup.

CANCELLED ORDERS
Orders cancelled after the item has shipped are subject to all standard return policies. You must accept delivery, obtain an RA Number and ship the item back to the correct address. If delivery of an item is refused, shipping costs (both directions) are deducted from the issued credit and a 25% restocking fee will apply.

CREDITS
Once your return is received, AJ Mobility Specialists, Inc. will issue a credit to the credit card used for the purchase. Please allow up to 4 weeks for your credit to be issued. If you paid by check or money order, we will issue a refund check within 30 days.

If your device or item is defective or was damaged in shipping, please call us at 541-601-1862 or email us at customerservice@anjmobility.com. We will arrange for the item to be repaired or replaced promptly. 

FREE Standard Shipping
Standard ground shipping is FREE for all scooters and power wheelchairs in Oregon. Most orders ship via Federal Express or UPS and arrive on your doorstep within 3-5 business days from the shipping date.

Some items may take longer to arrive. They include:

Medium to full-sized scooters
Most medium to full-sized Pride Mobility or Golden Tech scooters are delivered within 6-14 business days from the shipping date. The selection of some accessories on full-sized scooters, such as special seating sizes, flat-free tires, lighting packages, or turn signal packages, are considered custom orders and will take from 1-3 weeks to leave the manufacturer. All medium or full size scooters are delivered via freight carrier. The freight carrier will call you to arrange a specific delivery time once the scooter is at their facility in your area.

Power Wheelchairs
Most travel, folding and standard power wheelchairs may leave the warehouse within 1-3 business days.

Custom power wheelchairs with non-standard seat sizes or other custom options can take from 1-2 weeks to arrive from the shipping date, depending on the manufacturer. Travel power wheelchairs and folding power wheelchairs are delivered via FedEx or UPS, and do not require a signature. Full-size power wheelchairs are delivered via freight carrier. The freight carrier will call you to arrange a specific delivery time once the power wheelchairs is at their facility in your area.

Lift Chairs
Lift chairs can take from 5 business days to 4 weeks to arrive depending on the model, fabric and options you have selected. Specific fabric choices that are “In Stock” are noted in the color selection area, and may leave the warehouse within 5 business days. Any lift chair ordered with heat and/or massage options will take 3-4 weeks to arrive. Other custom chairs, such as heavy duty models, can also take from 3-4 weeks to arrive. Again, please call customer service for a specific delivery time. In most cases, we can check inventory to see if the specific model that you want is in stock. Lift chairs are delivered via freight carrier. The freight carrier will call you to arrange a specific delivery time once the lift chair is at their facility in your area.

Some items require freight delivery. They include:
Large scooters, power wheelchairs (other than travel and folding power chairs), lift chairs, and scooter and wheelchair lifts will arrive via a freight company in 5-7 business days from when they leave the manufacturer. The freight company will contact you when the item has arrived at the freight facility in your area to schedule a specific delivery time convenient for you.

Please note: These dates are an estimate only and may change. You will receive a shipping confirmation from AJ Mobility Specialists, Inc. as soon as your order has shipped, and will be contacted directly should there be any significant delay in shipping.
