At AJ Mobility Specialists, Inc., our primary mission is two-fold. (1) Keeping your lives in motion; (2) Dedicated to helping all of Southern Oregon with their mobility needs. Just as important is our secondary mission, simply offering the highest customer service satisfaction in the industry.
Our story starts in 2006, when two guys decided to start a repair company in a single-car garage in Medford, Oregon. While working at a local battery store as bench technicians, we were continually helping a customer with trouble-shooting power chairs and scooters, and soon realized that there was a possible open-field for knowledgeable technicians in the service and repair of electric mobility devices.
It was a slow start, and two guys became one guy with a dream to carry on his own company. That guy is Anthony Francisco, President and Technician of the company. With a love of “fixing things” and a strong knowledge of batteries, combined with 20+ years of trouble-shooting skills, the new company started to take off! Quickly growing out of the one-car garage, the dream became reality to become a prominent mobile service and repair company, dedicated to helping all of Southern Oregon with their mobility needs.
Over the years, the company grew from a LLC to a S-Corp, with a slight name change from A&J Mobility Specialists, LLC to AJ Mobility Specialists, Inc. in an attempt to differentiate ourselves from the competition that moved into town with a name very similar to ours. During this time, Anthony’s wife, Susan, joined the team full time, answering phones, scheduling appointments and keeping the books.
After 15 years as a mobile service company, we were fortunate enough to finally open a store front in January 2022. As we prepared to open the retail store, we decided to add a new dba name under AJ Mobility Specialists, Inc. that would easily tell folks who we were and what we do. Thus, AJ Electric Scooter & Wheelchair Repair was born.
We continue to offer limited mobile service and repair for your currently owned scooters and power chairs, while focusing on retail sales and in-house repairs more. With the retail store, we are able to offer a line of products made by U.S. companies that the customer can come in and see upfront. Products that you can be proud to own!
Taking pride in being a family-owned and operated company, we believe that the customer really does come first, even if you did not purchase your products through us. We will always be here for you! Just call us!
